High Fiber/Protein Low Glycemic Index Pasta

As most of my patients know, I have been searching for a good taste and texture pasta that can be used on GLP-1 diets, with diabetes and with keto diets. Up until now, all of the pastas I have tasted have either poor consistency, taste or texture. I have recently found 3 Farm Daughters pasta and they claim the following:

High-fiber, low-net-carb, low-GI, farm-to-table spaghetti made from specialty non-GMO wheat grown by our family and others.

Made from our specialty non-GMO, farm-grown wheat that naturally yields higher resistant starch fiber. This slows digestion, supports satiety, feeds the microbiome, and delivers a naturally low glycemic index with lower net carbs and higher protein—without sacrificing that classic taste and texture.

Each 3.5 oz serving contains 16g of fiber and 14g of protein—4.5× the fiber of traditional spaghetti with 10% fewer calories

Check out their website and store at the link below to see all the shapes of pasta and to order for yourself.

I can attest to the shape and texture of the product as well as the taste. I have followed my blood sugar and it does not spike my glucose levels. You can make the starch more resistant by cooking it the day before, cooling it in the refrigerator and reheating it, and serving with a protein.
